I am trying to install the cache software in OpenVMS dka0 disk. got error
(DKA0:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.CACHEDIST] is not a valid Cache distribution
directory).
Is any this i need to do with openVMS configuration? |

Is this Cache Product for the VAX, Alpha or IA64?

Is this freeware or commercial software that is has a hobby license?
Can you give a link to where the hobby license and distribution have been set up by the owner/author of the software?
Usually putting an error message into a search engine can find answers.
DKA0:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.CACHEDIST] is typically what something like SYS$COMMON:[CACHEDIST] on a running system.
You asked the same question on comp.os.vms and got a response asking if this was a commercial product or a hobby product.
If this is a commercial product for business use, then my recommendation is to contact the vendor or contract for professional VMS help.
If this is a hobby use, then more details are needed. |
