I have just managed to get a 4100 5/400 machine, 4 CPU's, 2048MB RAM, 8*18GB HD and I am trying to install VMS on it. I can get the machine to power up & pass all its tests etc, but it always end up saying
Halt assertion detected
NVRAM power-up script not executed
AUTO_ACTION=BOOT/RESTART and OS_TYPE=NT ignored, if applicable
When I show os_type....it says OpenVMS
I have tried boot -flags 0,0 dka500
but always the same result.
I tried set boot_reset OFF and then booting but get
Halt is or has been asserted, BOOT NOT POSSIBLE.
