Maybe this is directly linked to the other thread here.
But I wanted to open a new thread anyway.
I also try to get the USB running on my PWS.
VMS doesn't recognizes the internal USB.
I tried with an external PCI card without success.
I just installed OpenVMS8.3 with all the latest patches.
I even tried Debian to make shure that there is no hardware problem.
USB works fine with Linux.
Any ideas ? |

Hi,
What kind of card is it? OpenVMS will not recognize every USB card. Looks like older Adaptec cards work best. Also, what slot is it plugged into?

I acually didn't wanted to get the external card working.
I just wonder, if I could get the internal USB working. |

the internal USB was never supported. There are some PCI USB cards that work. |

Ok, thanks but ...
Some of the hardware mentioned in othe posts are really hard to find in Germany.
Is there a compatibility list of supported Hardware (not only US available somewhere? |
