First (newbie) post:
I have an AlphaServer 1000 (Case says 4/233 but LCD says 4/266) but someone has swapped the nwtwork card to put Linux on it.
What network card do I need to suppoer OpenVMS 7.3? and are they easy to obtain?
Thanks, Regards, Rob. |

Thank you David.
I see Dabs.co.uk has those for about £6.46 which is pretty cheap.
I had also been pointed to the DE500-BA but they're hard to find and someone in the UK wanted £55 for a second hand one plus £10 delivery.
I haven't used VMS since 1987 so this is a bit of a learning experence.
Thanks, regards, Rob. |

A DE500-AA is what I have previously used. A DE435-AA also works. |
