Hi All
I installed OpenVMS-Alpha-v8.3 on Personal alpha emulator
But I don't have any license install on it, so I am try to transfer the license from old alpha computer
(I did the procedure from this site http://www.montagar.com/~patj/vbegin.htm)
Now I have the file LICENSE_PAK.COM
But I can't transfer it to the OpenVMS HD, I try to move it with vaxft.exe software but the
OpenVMS couldn't find the file although when I am doing "dir" I saw the file there.
I try to transfer same other file for testing and got the same problem
Is this software (vaxft.exe ) will work on VAX only ?
(I am thinking to purchase SCSI controller and connect the HD that i have on the old alpha computer to my computer and transfer the all OpenVMS system but this is my last chance)
Any suggestion will help

Commercial VMS software licenses for VAX available from HPE.
