Is there a limit to the number of licenses I can register for? I'll be registering so I can run a charon-axp trial but would also like to register again to run personal alpha. |

Your registration depends on your DECUS number. If you register multiple times for the same license type, you'll get the same licenses.
But: No product that I know of tests for multiple usages in the network. So you can use the same license for CHARON-AXP and the PersonalAlpha (except when clustering).

As long as you do not cluster the various Alpha instances, you can use the same license on every virtual box. Of course, in the real world, that would be a violation of your license.

Before the Integrity license options were added PAKs had an entry for the serial number which was entered in the request form. Since the Integrity systems don't really have the same kind of serial number scheme as the Alphas and VAXen used to they discontinued that. But there was never any limit that I found about the number of licenses you could request. I have 11 Alpha and a Simh VAX (and now 5 Integrity) systems that I regularly request licenses for. Though since the serial number is no longer used I suppose I could now just request one of each architecture.
