Hi,
I get the above when trying to register my Layered products. I suspect it could be to do with me being part of an HP usergroup? I managed to register OPENVMS-ALPHA ok but the layered products wont work.
I assume the reason I can's start TCP/IP is because I have not registered the layered products?
$ @SYS$STARTUP:TCPIP$STARTUP.COM
%TCPIP-E-STARTFAIL, failed to start TCP/IP Services
-TCPIP-E-NOLICENSE, license check failed
I am a complete VMS noob.

It seems there's a "-" missing at the end of the line just above the /AUTHORIZATION. The whole command from LICENSE to /CHECKSUM is really one long line (broken up by continuing lines with a trailing "-" .

BTW: Just register OPENVMS-ALPHA and UCX, configure TCP/IP, and then you can FTP the license command file.

Yesterday a spammer flooded the board with over 200 posts. While they where removed in bulk by hobbyist one, some of the forums and topics where left with with flags indicating they were modified. |
