Is the openvms registration/License server down? |

HI,
I have tried multiple times over the last few days to connect to the registration and license site. I can't find an alternative site listed. Has anybody been able to register and recieve PAK's in the last few days?
I used the following address as listed on HPs openvms systems page

This is the link for "License Registration" listed on the front page of this site (did you try it?):

- but! I could NOT connect to the Openvms.org site when I 'googled' it:
www.openvms.org/ - so it looks like a problem with that site!

Problem was a bad motherboard that has been replaced. Access is restored.

Again the www.openvms.org doesn't work?
I see a "Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 61 in..." |

Yup, I just popped along to renew some license and am getting the same MySQL error :-( |

I just went to openvms.org and it's working again. No message as to the reason for downtime. The most recent news item is from Oct 9th so they may have had a db issue and lost some posts. |

Only the home page of openvms.org is currently working, so for now we need to use the alternate URL above. |
