Hello,
I've got a Digital PWS 433AU. Unfortunately there is no Digital stocker on the back newr the power supply with the Model and S/N number. 
Is there any other means to retrieve the cpu serial number to request a license?

With the Alpha 4x00 machines you can simply type SHOW at the >>> prompt (SRM console - pre OpenVMS boot) and the serial number is one of the pieces of info displayed, I believe.

And if you still can't get it then just make one up. While it doesn't feel legit, there's no technological link in LMF that requires a specific serial number for the DIGITAL hobbyist apps. |
