Folks,
I tried to install FreeAXP v4.0.0.679 on Windows 11 but it displayed pop error message said that.
An external action failed.
Installation will be cancelled.
Does anyone have any working-around solution with that? |

Updarte: I tried to install FreeAXP 4.0.0.671 and it worked fine. Only 679 version failed with external action failure. Use 671 version for Windows 11 system. |

It works ok for me.... (I was testing with Win 11 Pro N, fresh install under VMware)
The installer places a log in the user's appdata tree :
c:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Temp\decsetup-20230522...-install
It ~may~ contain something .... it depends on how far it got, and how it exited ...

Another couple of thoughts ...
Is your Win11 fully updated.... ?
Have you a pre-installed version of WinPcap (or similar), perhaps from some
other s/w ?
... and/or during the install dialog, did you select/unselect the MSI Pcap driver ?
