I've been trying to get Wine running under LinuxMint 21.1 as a precursor to adding Avanti ... at least Avanti as a kit of parts . executable and GUI .... I'm not optimistic ... but that proves nothing ... I've not tried Wine under Linux before .... and VMware may or may not make it more problematic ...

Used Mint before - is good with a lint GUI.
The Ubuntu install is on bare metal, and have VMS X86 running under KVM/QEMU without issue. I have never used Win before, but want to give it a try...
