Hi all, I have finally managed to setup the MicroVAX3900 running under SimH on a Raspberry PI, after many months of tinkering. I'm now wanting to get the OpenVMS license PAKS, but have just run into lots of brick walls. Is it still possible and if so, how do I go about getting one - for a hobbyist? I'm guessing that this was all possible years ago and is no longer supported? Ay help any of you can give me, I'll be very grateful as it has taken years to get to this point?
Any available hobbyist license was last available a year ago and they have run out of time. The last ones distributed had an expiration date of 12/31/21 which has now passed. At this point, unless you have a "real" license, VAX/VMS is no longer viable.
