I am using fedora 17 64 bit. I am running the latest version of simh I have it compiled for vdisk larger than 2 gb and to be used with networking and a 64 bit software. When i activate tcpip on my vms server it disables the networking in fedora .. I cant get on the internet or anything else., I am hoping that someone here has had this problem and found a work around . If all else fails i will start with a fresh system reinstall everything to see if i have messed anything up. your thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
hey hey hey hey i figured it out.. i read this someone ware on this site i think just was browsing and found an idea. If you go into your network settings in linux under ipv4 setting and set the method to link-local only. linux will not try to use the nic letting vms have it ... there it is
