Hello
I have 3 nics in my ubuntu 140.04 lts maching. I am needing to know how do i set up the other two nics for alphavm-free.
I hope this is enough info to get this answered if not please let me know

I thought someone would have set this up in ubuntu before all i need is what setting to put the 4 nics that is going to be used by thee emulator on like (link only, do i set up a static ip, or what .. i hope to get some help soon. I am now setting up my big dell server to run this

I have not used alphavm-free.
I have used Ubuntu VMs to host SimH, and I dedicate two NICs to use by SimH. One bridged to the house LAN, and one to a LAN internal to the box.
I set the NICs to be link only. You do not want to assign an IP to them. If you do assign an IP to them it will be ignored.
For SimH and Decnet to work, I have had to set the MAC addresses in the emulated NICs to be what DECNET was going to set them to be.

thanks you that is what i was looking for. Now to buy the bigger power supply and the memory fan for my power edge server and i am up and running. That server has 3 nic for 5 network connections...
