Normally, I'd just plug a thumb drive into my rx2600 and see what happens but I figure I'd ask here first. I'm a little more cautious as I get older...
So, the question is: Can I plug a USB flash drive into my rx2600 and be able to use it? Read it? See it? I'm running V8.3-1H1.
I'm sorry I posted this. This was too easy. I didn't get any replies probably just for that reason. I had a 4GB Toshiba flash drive hanging around, so I plugged it into the back of my rx2600. It flashed a few times and stopped. I went into VMS and typed UCM SHOW EVENTS which showed me what was going on and the device name, which was DNA0:.
I initialized it and mounted it and could read and write to it without any problem. I dismounted it and removed the drive. Like I said, that was easy.
Hopefully this post may help someone with that very same question.
