I'm looking to upgrade laptops harddrive from the 5400rpm to 7200rpm. Anyone done this before? Any noticeable gains in performance on a Celeron 1.6M? I already got a quote from someplace that they will do it for $130.
Hi coolgeorge, yeah it's a good idea to upgrade your PC hard drive especially if you are using it for long . I suggest you also in addition to this, try to upgrade your RAM also if possible. Then only you can really feel the difference while working . Regarding price , I have no idea though :cry:
