Hi,
I have two dvd. I'm trying to boot to install openvms in my integrity. I get into the boot menu and try to boot, but then the screen goes blank. I'm not sure what to do. I did installed Debian there and it works fine. (Before getting the openvms media.)
any idea?
thanks,

Hi,
the DVD was created with an iso image. each iso image is for a different dvd. one for the os and the other one for the layer products.
I'm new to Integrity. What I do (which was the way that I installed Debian linux) is to select the boot manager. then the cd and I browse the boot image that you had mention.
I get the following error
Error: CONOUT device path cannot be set to multiple devices
Warning: Select Console Device path from the boot manager.
How do I install the newest firmware? where can I find it
thanks,

Hi,
thank you. I will take a look.
I was wondering about the ISO Image that I burned. I used Toast for mac os x to burn the iso image into a dvd. The disk utility didn't recognize it. Now, I'm thinking, that maybe I should had use a different tool... what do you think?

Hi,
I think my media may be bad. I'll try to get working media.
Anyways, about the firmware, I read all your pages you sent. So, I found the page where the firmware is there.
now, I have two integrity servers.
The one that I have been trying is the zx6000.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=82069&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=82067&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=54
but is not clear which one do I have to download
for example, my EFI is 1.10 , and my firmware version is 2.01
I also try the conconsole (and console alone) but it doesn't work. I'm able to issue other commands in the shell, such as fs0:
I'm still lost about the firmware.
I'll try to get the media again.
thanks |

On the ZX6000 and ZX2600, as recommended by HP, you must install
each firmware component in stages from what is found to current, no
skipping versions. Google HP ZX6000/ZX2600 firmware for the most
current HP site and read the release notes. |
