We just switched from HTTP to HTTPS on our Apache server, and while it is working fine for most people, a number of people are getting problems with page loading (especially reports). The page starts to load, then it just flashes clear (like someone dropped a bomb on it and cleared out all the data), and then an error is presented in it's place. On IE and Chrome the error is pretty generic. However, Firefox is very specific:
An error occurred during a connection to xxx.xxx.com. SSL received a record with an incorrect Message Authentication Code. Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_READ
I Googled the error message, and saw a couple of solutions. One said to switch from SHA-1 to SHA-2 certificates, but we're already there. Another said to download the latest OpenSSL, but Apache uses it's own imbedded OpenSSL, so that's not an option for us. And of course, we're stuck with the version of Apache that comes with OpenVMS.
Has anyone seen this issue before and discovered a solution?
