My name is Mike and I am I am new to this community!
I guess I'll jump right in.... I learned COBOL in College on VMS and then PL/I on VMS.
I actually programmed a lot of PL/I, C, and Java on VMS back in the day - about 5-6 years ago and the company I used to work for still uses VMS to process billing system with COBOL on RMS file system.
I am looking to "play" with VMS again... but not sure what hardware I need to get to run at home - is there an x86 port?
I am now a windows C#, Delphi, Java coder (even some Mac Objective - C)... but I don't want to lose my VMS skills... its a great OS and lot of fun to play with
