Hi Everyone,
I'm Russell Jays and I live in Nottingham. For many years I supported
Cobol applications on VAXen and Aphas. These days, I only support
other operating systems for a living so am a hobbyist to fill my need
for real computing! Maybe one day I'll do a proper job again.
My small collection includes an AphaServer 800, DEC 3000,
VAX 4000/600, VaxStation 4000/90, Microvax 3100 and VaxStation 3100.
Having found hobbyist links/downloads/information to be very scattered,
I think that these forums are an excellent idea to help to bring us all
together and try to build more of a community.
If I can help, I certainly will try, but I know that there are many out there
with much greater knowledge and experience than me.
