After beeing VMS abstinent at home for several years - my last personal VMS equipment was a Vaxstation 3100/48 - I started installing FreeAXP yesterday. As for business, magaging VMS is still my primary task.
I started with digital in August 1979 and left Compaq in March 2003.
Since then I (among others of course) manage the VMS servers for the swiss stock exchange.
There are still some 70 Alphaservers to maintain and 8 Itaniums, but the number is decreasing almost every day.
I don't really care because I will retire in spring 12 anyway.
