The recent threads regarding older layered-products software and older O/S software kits have made me wonder: would it be a good idea for someone, somewhere to regularly "host" such kit available for download by Hobbyists?
The legal issues are daunting, of course, but some kind of Hobbyist authentication "mechanism" might go a ways towards solving that issue.
Since the older Hobbyist kits are no longer for sale (correct?), the fiscal impact on the Hobbyist endeavor should be minimal.
Or is all this effort too much for the benefits produced?
What's important are not with version you have but do you have the License..
most licenses are Version Agnostic.
Even HP told me once, that they dont really care where i take the disk... If you own the license, get the disk and install it.
probably they told me this since they could not provide me with the legacy version i requested..
Is somebody can legaly provide me with ISO of older SPL and or Older Hobbyist Kits..?
