hello,
I did an inquiry from CONNECT/ENCOMPASS, and I was inform by Barbara of CONNECT/ENCOMPASS last 2 days ago, that she already attended my request regarding my membership number to be valid for a Hobbyist License, but still everytime I want to Register for hobbyist license , I got this message:
"Your Membership Number is not in our database or is incorrect. Please check with your Chapter to insure it is correct and they have updated us. Sorry for any inconvenience."
Help please....

FWIW, I just tried to send a PM to him on an unrelated topic, and I got a reply that his mailbox was full. Is there any other mechanism available to "ping" him? |

BTW, my membership number still doesn't work after three months and I never got a response to the PM either.
Seems like the free Connect membership has expired now too, since it wants me to pay to log in now.
Frankly, if they want to promote VMS among hobbyists, they're doing a pretty good job of discouraging anyone from using it. |

Hi, I´ve been reading froums at Connect, waiting for my turn in getting my licenses, since may/2009. I left my post there, too.
I did a review on my profile and there was a checkbox asking about "getting hobbyist licenses", that I forgot to check.
A few days ago I tried register in OVMSHobbyist and got success. An email was sent to me with the licenses.
At forum, many people have been asking for their licenses.
Suggestion: take a look at forums and leave your question, review your profile, taking a special looking in that checkbox I told.
