I submitted a License request but haven't heard anything for quite some time.
Is Hobbyist License for OpenVMS VAX still available? |

Apparently no. NetBSD seems to be the only free license available.
For Alpha and IA64 the VSI Community license is now available per other threads. |

So, if you are new to the program and want to runup a VAX VMS instance (under simh) at home what do you do?
Can't do much without a network license (TCP or DECnet). And yes, I have a VSI AXP instance up and running under an old version of alphavm_free with a proper AXP Hobbyist license from VSI. |

HPE is still selling commercial VAX licenses.
Do not know if they will sell the combo net-app-sup packs that allow lots of stuff at a reasonable price.
