I regestered with vmshobbyists a counple of minutes ago, in order to get the VAX license PAKs for my SIMH VAX (I was away from VMS for 17 years, but it all came back to me in minutes). Simple q: what are the next steps? The HP hobbyist site wants a membership at decus or any "other" connected organization: how do I tell them that I have it now? KR Felix (Vienna). BTW: good to be back again at the VAX! |

The VMSHOBBYIST site no longer handles the license registration.
You need to first join an organization like encompasserve.org. To join it, (free), telnet to it and sign in. That will get you a membership number.
Then http://www.openvms.org/pages.php?page=Hobbyist to sign up for the license keys that you need.
And the e-mail should have information on downloading the software.

The license renewal/registration link is dead. Any ideas on where we should be going now? |

OpenVMS.org has had hardware problems. For now, use the following to register:
