is there problems issuing licenses? |

Hi
just wondering if there is problems issuing licenses, as I have tried twice to register for the various licenses available, following the registration process through giving the various details that are asked for and it says blah blah blah thanks for registering you were successful and your licenses will be emailed shortly but i never end up receiving any email with the license details . I'm pretty sure i'm not doing anything wrong while following the registration process as its fairly self explanitory. I'm trying to setup openvms on simh.
hope you might be able to shed some light on the situation

Well, then it's not just me. I've made several attempts with no success (at one point I thought it might be spam filtering but another e-mail address didn't work either; then tried "SIMH" versus "NONE" as the serial numbers. Still nothing.)
I don't know if the license generation is automatic or manual; it may well be a manual process that's only run once a week or something. |

Yes there was an issue with the license generation (a logical got messed up following an upgrade), and has been fixed. This is an automated process, so if you don't get something back within a few minutes, there's likely a problem. |

Thanks much - it's working fine now. I resubmitted the request and the license e-mail arrived quickly. Appreciated!
