Is Networking and Clustering included for OpenVMS?
The OpenVMS Hobbyist License Program includes License PAKS for both DECNET and TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS, Process Software has included It's Multi-Net Products under a grant to OpenVMS Hobbyists but you must obtain that PAK from the Process Software WEBpage . OpenVMS Clustering is included and you may cluster as many VAX, Alpha or Itanium systems as you would like. The Terms and Conditions of the Hobbyist Program do state that Each Hobbyist machine must have a unique license and as such all your OpenVMS machines must be registered on the Hobbyist WEBpage and each must receive their own PAKS.

What versions of OpenVMS are included in the Hobbyist Program?
All versions. All Hardware Architectures that OpenVMS runs on.
OpenVMS versions prior to V5.0 do not require license PAKS to operate, but to be recognized under this license grant you must also register your
older systems to participate legally.
