When reading about writeboot, it lets you make a new boot block if the old one on the system disk is trashed.
BUT HOW do you get the system up in the first place, if the boot block is trashed? The command gives you no option on specifying the "target" disk for where to write the new block.
It almost seems like an impossible situation, so I must be missing something :-)........any explanation appreciated. |

Boot the system from an installation CD to repair the disk. |
