We're finally done getting things ready. Thanks to Hoff for solving a couple of the technical issues. You can now register Integrity system Hobbyist licenses. Note that for the Layered Products, you will have to register for a seperate Layered Products Integrity set. |

That's great news. Anyone with a new machine like that would be quite priveleged indeed. Well I see the poll says no VAXEN in use.. I guess I could do something about that, there is one here from an old friend of ours. I kinda been keeping it. |

I have an rx2620. I got it at one of the HP Integrity Developer Workshops. If you are a developer on OpenVMS, this seminar is a MUST!
And - Welcome Pat! |

Yes, it is running OpenVMS 8.3 (it was pre-installed).
I haven't started working on the Alpha V8.x kit yet. I'm still not sure about doing an Integrity kit at this time (I don't have media, and not sure how easily I can produce and duplicate the DVD's it ships as - and getting permission :-) |

You have to produce them, or were they shipped with your rx? Oh, you got it from a workshop, right, didn't they distributed "freely" 8.3 I64 install dvd's? |

The RX from the porting workshop was pre-installed. We didn't get DVD's or anything. They pre-installed the harddrive with an OpenVMS load, Freeware tools, Apache, PHP, Perl, PAK's and other goodies. I presume once they had a disk they were happy with, they BACKUP/IMAGE'd a whole slew of them to install into the other RX's used for the class. |

Ok many thanks for the fast replies, i will wait until you get those dvd's and of course the permission to copy and distribut them.
I will post in a week or so to see if there is any update on that case.
Cheers Telko. |

Is there any word on the media kits for Itanium?
I just acquired an itanium system and I'd like to see how OpenVMS runs on that platform.
it is an rx1600 with 2gb ram and 1 Ghz cpu.
I have a small collection of Vaxes, and Alphas (including the first workstation to come to Canada - with a 150Mhz cpu).
I'm anxious to run the itanium system, but I have no media for it.
Is there anything we can do to help?
thanks,
Ole Jensen.
